Please join us for the check presentation to the LUM Good Samaritan Fund from the Purdue Crew Team. Details are as follows:
- Tuesday, February 25
- 3 p.m.
- Crew Boathouse, Levee Plaza, West Lafayette
On February 1, Purdue Rowing Team sponsored Row-A-Thon which is an annual 12-hour rowing marathon in the Tippecanoe Mall, which supports and raises awareness for the LUM Good Samaritan Fund. Drew Stover, president, and David Kucik, head coach, will present their gift to the LUM executive director, Joe Micon, at this special ceremony at the Boathouse on Tuesday, February 25 at 3 p.m. Refreshments will be available.
The LUM Good Samaritan Fund provides our community’s neediest families and children with a strong and reliable safety net. Help is available for utility bills, rent, and prescription medications. Trained volunteer assistants help administer the program. Every dollar contributed to the LUM Good Samaritan Fund goes to a family in need. No operating expenses are taken out of this fund.
